The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2007 require food businesses to put in place food safety management procedures. In essence, businesses need to record and verify that they are completing food safety checks, in addition to the existing requirements. The systems need to be proportionate to the nature and size of the business.
The key objective of Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) is to ensure that businesses can provide safe food to consumers using a practical approach that will enable micro and small catering businesses to ensure legal compliance.
