Genesis QA, the Oxfordshire based farm assurance firm, has appointed NSF-CMi Certification as their sole inspection and certification body taking over from PAI. The move places at Genesis’s disposal the resources of a comprehensive national network of highly trained and experienced assessors to carry out certification inspections for Genesis customers.

Good news for food businesses as the Food Standards Agency takes over food hygiene ratings database

In a move that opens up the way to nationally comparable food hygiene scores for premises selling food, The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has partnered with the database agency which publishes the food hygiene scores of premises in local authorities which are still running Scores on the Doors schemes.
